Welcome to the IMPACT study website. IMPACT is the first international study to target men with a known genetic alteration that is thought to confer an increased risk of prostate cancer.

This section of our website provides information for the public, patients, family members, and healthcare professionals. The content of this section can be broken down into three main parts:
- About prostate cancer, where we provide basic information about the prostate and prostate cancer, including its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Genetics and cancer where we provide information about inherited predisposition and cancer (also known as a family history of cancer), including: inherited predisposition and prostate cancer; what you can do if you believe you are at risk of developing cancer because of an inherited predisposition; and information about genetic testing for an inherited predisposition to cancer.
- There is also a section which provides information about the IMPACT study. In this section you can find a detailed description of the study; you can also access our patient information sheet and study eligibility criteria; as well as view details of how to take part in our study.
