Identification of Men with a genetic predisposition to ProstAte Cancer: Targeted screening in BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutation carriers and controls.
Welcome to the IMPACT study website. IMPACT is the first international study to target men with a known genetic alteration that is thought to confer an increased risk of prostate cancer.
This section of our website provides detailed scientific and medical information about IMPACT, including a description of our patient eligibility criteria, summary of patient journey, and a list of all the IMPACT publications. The latest IMPACT news bulletins are also available, which includes information about the upcoming IMPACT/AIDIT conference.
We have also attempted to provide a summary of other prostate cancer research being undertaken within the EU. If you know of any study that you feel should be included in this summary, please contact us.
Certain areas of the researcher’s section are password protected, and can only be accessed by current IMPACT collaborators. These include the study documents section, where you can download the full IMPACT protocol and other IMPACT documentation; we also have a discussion forum, which has been set up to help promote discussion and networking between all IMPACT collaborators. If you are a member of a research group, please submit our registration form to receive a password.
If you have any questions about the IMPACT study then please take a look at our frequently asked questions section. If you are considering joining the international IMPACT study, or if you can’t find the information you require, then please contact the IMPACT coordinator directly.
